Pok

A prince in so many ways
A Resident, he
Of Glastonbury Town
Where enchantment is free
A musical troubadour
A teller of tales
Inspired by the fey
Whose wisdom just sails
Out from his soul
From his heart to exclaim
His energy boosted
In a pure golden flame
Lifts tonal influence
Caught up in his thought
He leads his band
In the magic that’s caught

With Tim and Geraint
Creatively reels
Amazingly musical
Honestly steals
It enters the audience
As we can see
A force to be reckoned with
They gleefully
Giving their all
Creating the joys
The emotion the spirit
The lyrical notes
Beautiful breath
From the gentlest of throats

Embracing the classics
Profoundly we feel
The emotion and magic
The spell works reveal
Pok quite a solitary
But he proclaims
Persuasive intentions
And honourable games
He inspires, he relates
A crispness we hear
He rocks we see flocks
Of rooks it is clear
Cows on the levels
Inspired by his worth
He paints his pictures
A man of God’s earth

A traveller loose footed
A wandering sage
An imbibing scribe
Dip reading each page
Meanders historically
Working his soul
His philosophy purposefully
He doth extol.
Pok sings and plays
Music that we
Enjoy
Contemplative
His reverie
Just tons of thought
Deliriously he
Brings excitement
To bear
and its done masterfully.
