Beating up an elephant

Twas in Bangladesh
A shop we see
Damaged by and elephant, we
Saw it take the place apart
Why who knows but from the start
A mahout and a friend close by
Took out sticks and let them fly
For 30 minutes beat the soul
All it’s body out of control
A wild wild elephant abrasions tore
Scars and wounds yes for sure
This poor animal suffered so
At the hands of the thugs.
