The Faroes

Call it what it is for Gods sake
Driven pilot whales
Captured in their place of birth
Everything else fails
Motor boats and evil men
Drive the pods to shore
And in the shallows cut them up
In fact we start a war
Decapitating pregnant mothers
Aunties sisters cousins who
Form in fact a family tree
And ply the water as they do
Elders teaching youngsters
Guidance from above
The whales can show us humans
Really what is meant by love

These wonderful valid god made souls
Stripped of decency
Herded like a bunch of rats
And slaughtered mercilessly
The sea turn red with blood and guts
Their heads sawn off the pain
The cries go back to hell me thinks
Again and again

The Faroes throwbacks from the Vikings
That they want us to
Imagine these bright specimens
This is what they do
Murder mayhem vile degrading
Let their children see the plight
Of families torn to shreds
And screaming in the morning light

And what’s it all for people
The flesh cut off and sent
To JApan yes frozen
Life is how it’s spent
Wasted on the shipments
Sent across more sea
For the hungry Japanese
Who fail to hear our plea

Taiji a port Hokkaido
Other places there driving dolphins and pilot whales
And others to despair
They just love the killing sprees
They do it every day
Murder ocean mammals in a bloody thirsty display

And NOrway and Iceland and the Faroes
Are sending surplus too
Stop this bloody murder
Yes the lot of you
