Thank you Doctor Holland
For the Ibuprofen gel
It’s helping my hands considerably
How painfully they swell
The wrist the little finger
The veins at night feel sore
Thank you for the prescription
It reaches to my core
It was kind of you to help me
Brilliantly I say
It’s really very helpful
At night when I play
At Aggravating my sore toes
It helps me dream more avidly
And some of the pain just goes
Enough to help me sleep
