Sheepishly

It’s happened so many times
So called live exports
Animals loaded thrown into places
Shipped off from Freemantle
Going to Israel
Miles in the great heat
Not many spaces
Dirty and dingy
Water is scarce
No vet on board
What could be worse
Shipping to Israel
In all this heat
Through massive storms
who now might greet

The ship when it turns up
Throats cut and rigour
Turned back to Oz
It’s down to the war
Camped in Freemantle
A biosphere hot spot
All of that filth
Because of the war
