Exotic leather

The fancy shops
Appealing to the snobs
of Regents street
Knightsbridge
and the arses
That just don’t feel complete
Without some exotic handbag
From Hermes let us say
Made of ostrich
Made of lizard
Crocodile
They pay

So much for dead animals
Most are fucked up snobs
A Birkin bag a tote bag
They listen to the jobs
Of shops
the scarcity principle
Neutrals and some pale
Rose gold and palladium
They are on the trail

All Costing a small fortune
And a probably a jag
In the garage or an Aston Martin
And soon the Hermes bag

These folks are irresponsible and
So many wild animals get
Beaten up and of course defiled
Their unique character
Is not seeing the blood spilled
Into heritage leather
Entirely vegetable tanned
Can you hear the ringing tills
Nine to 30 grand

Just
To put their bits and pieces in
To carry in their hand
Female cows are butchered
Ostrich gone for good
Crocodiles could swim for miles
But now they never could
Shot and stripped of all their skin
Polished night and day
Bled dry of their toxins
So hopeful you will pay

All hand made and lovely
Actually unique
Characterful pure heritage
It’s what ladies seek
Colour size material
Date stamp and condition
Even vegan leathers coming soon
A break with tradition
