Kunming zoo and monkey mountain

Kunnming zoo and Monkey mountain
Tragically these souls
Put together cats and monkey
With respective roles
Of trying hard to motivate themselves
Across the board
Monkeys wanting sex with cats
Some sort of reward

Lots more monkeys than cats
Gangland here we come
Some cats blinded apparently
Mounted and left numb
It’s a shocking turn of events
Created by the zoo
Talking about rats aloud
Which actually isn’t true

Telling such cruel stories
About the animals there
Zoo’s are really prisons
Areas where despair
Runs its course and suffering
Is heightened by the hour
With noisy visitors looking on
The atmosphere is dour

Animals have feelings
They are in foreign climes
Taken from their environment
Added noise it chimes
Across their plain of existence
They suffer and they be
Put upon by the monkey tribe
Whose sensitivity

Is far removed from the felines
Now taking them away
Because some sensitive visitor
Complained we have to say
It really isn’t conducive
To expect cats to accept
Monkeys as their sexual partners
For neither is adept

Zoo keepers, and zoo’s alas
Know little about all this
Talking about rats and cats
Is talking up the bliss
The keepers feel yes possibly
Keep the places clean
Root out the food debris
Brighten up their scene

Street cats and wild monkeys
Are not bed fellows they
Need to just be kept apart
That I have to say
The cruelty is evident
Zoo’s are distant places
Animals are compromised
And suffer in these cases

What we see are monkeys
Raping cats and attacking
Them it’s really dreadful
Zoo’s are truly lacking
Any sense of logic
Any real idea
These blinded cats are victims
And are clearly in such fear

Introduce compassion
A lot more empathy
Realise the pressures
On the wild Monkeys
Street Cats are no answer
Strays think what you do
Stress yes it’s reactive
So don’t be clueless to

Their real wants and their general health
