Heart rending

The heart rending howl to the wintry moon
Stretches far across wilderness
Forest and lake
Wolves as we know communicate well
So therapeutic they engagingly spell
Out fraternal feelings
Soothsayers they be
Traversing vast distance
Magnanimously
Bounteous persuasion coupled with
Light
Soaring over hills and yes inspite
Of humans, dark hunter tribes acerbity
Of the moon and the stars
And the need to stay free

Finding strength in the echoing
Howls pitched to be
Responsive and telling
With Some charity
With benevolent thoughts
Of blandishments and display
Societal membership
In their peace loving way

Hunters intent of discharging their I’ll
Who come into being to throttle and kill
Ambush and chase down the wild packs who run
Who learn from the moon and who gaze at the sun
It’s all in the howl a celebration
Their own special inter net
Blatant vibration
High souled and spirited imperiously
The wolf orchestral congratulatory
