With heaps of real affection
And a taste all of its own

Cakes and savoury offerings
Tables spaced so well
Staff of gentle manner
Cups that kind of tell
Me a lot of thought was given
A glaze a feel of care

This is a vibrant meeting place
With Preparations from Mr C
Making up the salads
In bowls, such palatability
Delectable and toothsome
Garnishes supreme
Tempting and appetising
From a happy team

Lacey on the counter
A gentle attractive soul
Softly spoken, warm and responsive
Clearly knew her role
Busy, tables spaced well
One sensed the philosophy
Of comfort and caring
And wholesome and sharing
A truly delightful spell

Was had and it feels so genuine
An elegance about the place
Tasteful clearly thought about
Receptive easy-going
A rationale of thoughtfulness
An undertaking showing
An aura of the plenteous
Ample one can say
Memorable whenever
Whatever time of day.

I went in for coffee
And a slice of chocolate cake
Being vegan its very nice
More businesses awake
To plant based vegan offerings
Sustainable a way
Ethically charged and not too sweet
Yes Conducive can I say.
