Stonehenge

Go south west folks
Up the A303
And drive Passed Stone Henge
See what you see
Serenity sits suggestively she
A selection of stones
So majestically

Ancient you know it
Great Sarson’s you see
And there in the footprint
Artifact’s be
They are there neolithic
Quietly they sit
Ley lines and magical mysteries
Fit

Only to leave undisturbed
Never drive JCB’s
It needs to be curbed
And left alone the spirits they know
Our government bods
Have little to show
When they come up with planning
Suggesting that they
Will build some great tunnel
And move it away

Cover it up see the A303
Run just like clockwork
For fucks sake let me
Tell you Stonehenge must be left
Quietly sat
On the beautiful patch
Which is where it’s at.

Arrogance only and ignorance too
A site of such beauty
Magic all through
Druidic history stones of such size
Silent benefaction
Just realise
The beautiful sits in a palatial view
Of the heavenly bodies
Honest it’s true
