Waitrose

Bags for life
Are now one poundFrom 60 pence
The rise
And actually they are much smaller
Waitrose thinks it’s wise
To spread their message
Everywhere
That their prices are now keen
But looking closely to my bills
The bloody Waitrose machine

Rumbles down the high street
These bags should display a price
Buying into the brainwashing
This increase isn’t nice
I have noticed quite a lot of
Not so fresh fresh products sit
Yellowing and rather dry
My aspected light you’ve lit
The bags for a pound are
Crazy
They advertise and do
Everyone who buys one
Is stitched up yes it’s true
But it’s not really clever
Because more will walk away
And take their bags to Aldi
Who knows, and there display
