A carer of canines in Mexico

He identifies as caring
Absorbed in what he does
Travelling in Mexico
He feels an enormous buzz
Within his soulful body
The aching constancy
The monotonous derision
The vile hostility
Of people towards animals
Strays dogs left to fend
The bloody inconsistency
The defiance at the end
In his cart collecting them
Loving them his care
Equality and confidence for everyone
That’s there
He has that sweet cohesiveness
Adherent to the cause
Loving caring feeding sharing
And never stops to pause
