Prowess

What is the purpose of setting to kill
A magnificent wolf in spite of the chill
A hunting experience a multiple treat
Stand proudly hauling a soul at your feet
A wolf a great beast it’s prowess curtailed
It was from the wild climes and against you it failed
It’s ingenuity taken apart
By the roar of the rifle and the snap of your heart
A huge silver salmon upon a taut rod
Flashing through water aware of its god
Tousled and tearing endearingly so
Majestic desiring the force and the flow
A package of killing of swearing of fulfilling
A dream in the wilderness just being willing
To throttle to bottle that realisation
To stop in their tracks for complete satisfaction.
