Chocolate

It’s bloody hard work in the forests of time
Farming cacao
without chemicals aid I can say
Maximum eleven percent if the profit
Goes back to the growers
They really do pay
In blood sweat and tears
Mosquito bites too
It’s the bloody great companies
It’s what they do

Screwing the growers
The slaving kids who
Farmers get little
And risk lots
It’s true
Under a hot sun in the steamy heat
Mosquitos biting your hands
And your feet

Africans suffer tests what they do
Diversification consumers rue
The day they remain
In the steam of each day
And earning a pittance
So soon pass a way.
