Wild Wolves

Wildness
The male Wolf’s
Perceptivity
It warms to the female
Awakened it be
Not feeling so threatened
Safer intact
Softer mannerisms
It seems to react

Much more aggressively
To the male
Who it sees
As tougher and macho
And feels less at ease

A sensory connection
Susceptible too
The form of the female
A feminine who
Is of gentle persuasion
A motherly soul
Knowing and active
Less likely to impinge
On the masculine role

Testosterone heavy
Hot blooded and loud
Ear splitting howling
Stands out is proud
A lantern of darkness
A bystander who
Has vision and will
And stares back at you

No lateral thinking
Tends to look away
Not courting assumptions
How they display
Themselves an attraction
Friendly and helpful
With an eminent stare
A paragon really of beauty
Aware
That of flawless intent
And a real want to care

Wildness is realisation of need
Of a pilgrimage really of want to succeed
Of aid and encouragement
The courage to care
Passive diplomacy
And wanting to share
As a family unit
It’s heartfelt and there
Purity really
And quality air.
