So many bloody experiments

Elisabeth Murray
The scalpel Queen
For thirty years
It seems she has been
Doing experiments
On monkeys who
Are locked in cages
And what they do
is mess with
Their brains take bits away
Frighten them most every day
With rubber spiders
And rubber snakes
Throw them around
It’s all it takes

To put a monkey into fear
Mendaciously to draw a tear or two
The bedlam they
Enter frightened to death some say
Inspired by Frankenstein
Organs taken
Baboons and pigs
Yes the forsaken
Delirium,b shock force and more
Sophistry akin to a war
Of nerves it’s spite
False reasoning
Unwarranted is what it does bring

Ambivalence and obscurity
The monkeys grimace frantically
Experimentation day after day
And no humans benefit
So they say
peta knows a lot and we
Are satisfied they care they be
Certain that what they get up to
Is controversial certainly.
