A baleen whale
An endangered soul
Icelanders do not eat them
Less than 100,000 probably
In the oceans currently

18-20 metres long
Hunted to ship to JAPAN
It’s wrong to declare whale parts
As frozen fish
But they began
To do this so that dockers
Didn’t question it
The IWC and the world at large
Where hunting whale does sit

A Worldwide prohibition
But Iceland and Norway
And of course JApan are still at it
And most ends up away
To JApan which is the reason
Why Iceland And Norway hunt
To ship it all off to JApan
Who actually takes the brunt

Meat and oil and baleen
Big Pharma supplementation
These marvellous creatures
Tortured to death
A threat to their creation

Mothers with babies regularly
Harpooned and dragged to port
