An old friend died

Death came rather slowly
On the crossroads as we see
How many hearts have beaten
As they passed most certainly
This fine Oaks set it’s aura
For countless souls to share
Unnoticed by the ignorant
It’s beauty was so rare
And now in death its myriad of memories
Be aware
