Migrants in Weymouth

An influx of men
No women no children
These are not families
Who the hell are they
Thrown at a port
Where people reside
They were born here were schooled here
All this denied

Import 500 and who and what are they
Where were they born
Where were they schooled
They will be wandering around the
Port
with their government money
With the dragonflies flying
Perhaps a Marsh Harrier a bearded tit
Will anyone notice them
The Cetti’s Warbler Radipole lake
The sea in the background
Which won’t be a hit

With these migrants
their papers
tossed in the channel
A well equipped barge
And who knows how much flannel.
