Birds on wires

What is the fascination
About birds on wires
There is a song that we all know
In many ways it fires
Imagination really
Is it stability
Do they know about balance
Are they able to be
More confident exposed there
It does occur to me
The freedom of the winged ones
Seen as a constancy
