I billion chickens

One billion chickens
Every year
Are slaughtered in Britain
That figure is clear
So much remorse
Sadness and woe
For the egg laying
Souls with little to show

The humans who live here
Scoff every day
Wings breasts and legs
And they make us pay
With our lives, it’s not fair
It’s all wrong
It’s not right
To be born as a chicken
It’s one big long fight

Taken away thrown in a tray
Carted off roughly
That seems the way
The halal slaughterhouse
Scrunched by the neck
Our feet chopped Off
No one to check

One billion relatives
Throats cut heads roll
It’s not bloody right
Where is your soul
Murdering humans
Humanity
Scum bags forever
Depravity
