Evening sunlight

Evening sunlight
On copper Beech Leaves
In the foreground
Cherry too
The sun begins to doze and rest
It’s Glare it’s light
A lovely view
Of hankering down
Watching the rustle
The trunks and boughs
Take on a shade
Of burnished gold
Of murmuring shadows
The clouds above
Have quietly rolled
Into a greyer softer cushioning
Motionless the BT wires
Strung across from street to street,
Through varying branches
Verse and stanza
Streaming scanning
A heart beat.
Representation of a bright picture
Where we live
And where we dream
