Bracken

I have to say
That Bracken can be very very toxic
It’s out there growing wildly
To be sure
Animals and human beings
Have to watch it, carefully
In honey it is Risky
Testing it we must test it much more
Lots of cattle are really hurt
Horses can be too
It’s from the planet Mercury
It’s masculine all through
Air it be
Rain magic
Prophetic dreams tis said
Who knows really how many
Animals get sick and then drop dead
Because of its toxicity
Carcinogens all round
And you find it growing everywhere
On our wooded ground.
Dogs fetching balls
Deers walking around
Cattle and horses may
Be getting it in dried form
Amongst the cheaper hay
A true diagnosis
Horses suffer they
From this thiamine
inhibitor
Causing blindness
Too they say
Bone marrow depression
Oxotoxcity
It’s really very dangerous
More so it seems to me
