Precipitation

5 to 50 mm cloud form precipitation
Ice pellets or insane HAIL
A really weird creation
Big enough to smother plants
And even bruise us, we
Who walk out in the countryside
Believing it to be
Coming from a flying saucer
Sugar cubes and all
Little green men with red eyes
Who we think were eight feet tall.
