A valentine’s gift of a Giraffe’s heart cut down in flight

We know who you are
If you passed us by
In the street
Your unscrupulousness
It would unseat
Every emotion
That abject disgrace
What is worthless villainy
To the human race
You murdered a giraffe
And butchered its soul
Cut out its heart
You couldn’t control
Those vilest of urges
Bloodied it be
Held up for the camera
On a valentine spree

Love for your better half
Unspeakably
Observing your post
I felt sick instantly
That beautiful soul
Cut down by you
Just being obdurate
Unashamed too
You had no excuses
You had no regrets
You felt no remorse
At the huge karmic debts
