A calves new life

A tiny baby just been born
Left her mother with a yawn
A sunlit world of bluer skies
A warmish bank to realise
Our new home on greener grass
Where plantain dandelion chick weed
Pass
Each other such simplicity
Dignified and expectantly

Ours said the calves.
