Racing horses

They actually call it racing
It’s perilous to me
Precarious and dangerous
Complete severity
Callousness and exploitation
This is what we see
Brave and noble horses
Risking life and liberty
Unforgiving and unsparing
The innocent we see
Injured broken punitive
Utter adversity
Grand National nothing grand here
Mugged and left to die
Subjected to such bondage
And utter slavery.
