Heavy Raindrops

Heavy Raindrops drenched in hail
Spring flowers buffeted might they fail
Elegant tulips blossoms glow
It’s cold enough it seems to snow
A sky of porridge dripping grey
Beech leaves born this month
The day
Welcomes coppery Lacey leaves
The chill of April though deceives.

The afternoon today seems still
The Rosemary blossoms my eyes fill
The cherry blossoms begins to show
And is up against the rain you know
Cold icy rain that
wets and freezes
Modest histrionics seizes
Freshly confident blossoms too
Work the weather and be true.
