Wildness our friend

Barking it is snow Time
Flutteringly so
Everywhere an ermine light
A wondrous Arctic glow
Many paths lead everywhere
Footprints we can see
Let’s play together both of us
Underneath the tree

Our den is warm and underground
A cavernous display
All of us love falling snow
And when it goes away
Playing with each flutter
Drifting all about
A whiteness and a brightness-lightness
Not in doubt
Play is so subjective
It takes my breath away
Kidnap was an option
The demons we display
