Last evening

It was 7’0clock
Prime knocked the door
I got up and foolishly
Forgot my bag was lying there
And tripped apparently
I hit the runner and split my skull
Blood running everywhere
I wanted to protect the cushions
I mean it isn’t fair
To stay at a friends home
And leave my blood about
Sure enough when she found me
We were not in any doubt
Callled 111
The ambulance took me
On my way to Watford
To the Hospital
Clearly I would pay
A price for being stupid
Possibly a bleed
I being on the thinners
If I was to succeed
I had to get to hospital
Efficient they were that
I wasn’t left there waiting
I knew where I was at
