The good of the deer

The glisten of sunlight
A backdrop of blue
A stillness still frosty
Remarkably true
A halo of copper
And all shades of green
Great trunks standing stalwart
Purposefully mean
Leaf litter confetti
Clinging on high
The swirl of the fuschia
Red tipped apply
To the pea green clusters
The Pursuit of the clear
Spooring and trailing
For the good of the Deer
