Cruel and oppressive
Women expected to accept
Torture and
Have their feet bound up with
Blood and long bandages
Breaking their bones
And torturous pain
How they endured it
Supposedly beautiful
Disabled by vanity
And misogyny
Girls at young ages
Were taken and injured
Ten centimetre feet
All tragically
Expected to undergo
This vile extension
Their poor feet broken
And hardly did they
This life long torture
Made very tiny
Made very gracefully
Mobility awful
It seems to me
