December and the Copper Beech

The structure stands demanding
Of the air Bourne the great Tree
A mass of Lacey twiglets
Now it’s leaves are free
Matted neath it’s branches
In the neighbours drives
That smooth trunk holds such majesty
It’s how it all survives
