Crimbo shopping

The day before Christmas

Pissing with rain
Strikes every which way
Britain’s insane
Went into waitrose some chicken to buy
For my little cat
Who loves it and it’s why
I parked at blue badge
The queue stretched so far
Can I push in I said
Again not the star
Grumbles and moaning
People don’t care
It was like a big jumble sale
Some even swear

So called rich buggers
Empathy free
They become lessers soulless
If you ask me
With food banks and the homeless
In berko Town
To get what they want
They will just push you down, ramming their trolley
With glazed over eyes
Christmas in Berkhamsted
so I in fact no surprise.
