An average tree’s lamentation

How did that trunk feel sliding
Into your back passage
You totally arrogant bunch of hell raisers
The glee on your faces until that point
When the great tree tipped forward
And the undergrowth became
Their reality
That instant agony shared by those of
Siding with the great tree.
