Wild families of Foxes

they live all around us

For many centuries

all of the seasons

throughout the years

Families of vixens and dogs

and their families

Lived as  they have always lived

With or without tears.

Humans

for surely the stresses of life

encroachment  of people and cars

added strife

the blood sport enthusiasts

The horses  and hounds

laws passed to be broken

on myriad grounds.

countryside hunts

this land still has many

meeting in secret

but after one thing

to torture and chase the special wild  foxes

venturing out to

put food on their  table

threatened and harried

and  wanting to bring.

them He’l,  clearly frighten them

wild as the true winds

tear them to bits

a scourge on the wild folk

That’s  where their fate sits
