Wild as the night

Shark’s and Wolves and Bats

and Owls

Maligned by  fiction

they left the rails

of fact alas

it was horror they

Portrayed  in print

and were made to pay

.j

the psyche is a peculiar side

many of us have denied

the classic fictional stories! we

Overlook  their  purpose in life all free

JAWS  and werewolves

Dracula He

sucked the blood

an infections  we

then think of the ocean

we think of the packs

of hairy wolves

And As the pack attacks

all are wild

and because of this

hunt together l  the facts  the bliss

of life is family

and in the mix

stresses build

And it knocks us  for six

predation salvation

these animals they

work with success

and all do display

an integrity

and  I guess it’s true

a lot of  valour

it just comes through

boldness and bottle

and tenacity

and the fictional  kitsch

its within us,  we

Our  fear each spasm

which has clearly led

To  cynicism

in our head

Sadly We

Thus presume doom

and vulnerability

the coming gloom

negativity when we hear

their name

the blame

is ours

it’s our fear
