Holly berries

Out in Oxfordshire yesterday
Peace ruled the roost
Hamlets we passed through
Getting a boost
From the rural commitment
The historic past
The meandering hedgerows
And the Holly that cast
All those crimson berries
Set now to last

Till Yule
