My Dental Appointment

was cancelled today

but I wasn’t going

until next Monday

because our Dear Queen

of so many years

had forgot to wake up

or so it appears

she was in Balmoral

a long way away

with several Corgi’s

thats Scotland they say

various Royals  were making the trip

the reason why

they retained a  tight lip

now I hear cancer patients

every where

their appointments have been cancelled

too.

her divorced son Charles

is to be King

imagine the sadness
