Cages let them open

¿Empty cages
So say sages
Provides an alien reason to be
Satisfied that animals do
Retain their freedom
All life through
Rogues and scoundrels
Believe it’s fair

To lock up wild souls
Everywhere
A man made prison
For the innocent who
Were caged by criminals
Like the zoo

Pitiless compassionless
Thoughtless sods
The misanthropic
Butcher gods
Resigned to harm
To challenge calm
To imprecate
And violate

And suffocate
At an awful rate
Let every cage be
Crumpled flat
Let no living soul
Be at
This vile confinement
Such acrimony
Disobliging
And blood-thirsty
