A new rail line who cares about the countryside it cuts through

Carving through wild life
To lay down a track
Is a peculiar insult
Worthy of flack
Our countryside crying out
Yes we can fear
The birds and the bees
That live and die here
Great rumbling engines
Yes might soon be
Engaging the air flow
And lives that were free
