The selfish arrogant structure

of our minds eye has to be

subjected to cogitation

with much profundity

rapists have parental rights

now that’s  a question for

the victim

or some judge and juror

From deep down in one’s core

A baby from a heinous act

a victim overnight

a lifetime’s dreams

just shattered

how could  that be right

without a conviction

proven it couldn’t be

The act the ongoing terror

of such illegality

imagine you are that victim

raped at knife point scared

your body has been violated

your flesh and blood was bared

and you are made to have that child

and the rapist has the right

to actually be the father

just work through her plight

9 months of such bitterness

such violence of one’s soul

brutalised and terrorised

this evil fiend he stole

everything on gods earth

left you in a heap

bleeding and resented

and forever feeling cheap
