A safety net for animals
mistreated souls who have been
taken in and cruelly treated
and end up really lean
skin and bone all beaten
call the RSPCA
a safety curtain coming down
not always so they say
animals expecting
a little love and care
instead get so neglected
and dont get anywhere
then we need an authority
manned by carers who
don’t just take the easy option
care is what they do
They need a safety net
Where diligence and care
putting animals to sleep
shows people are unaware
we really have to do our sums
life is what we need
not short cuts to the camp of death
we all have to succeed.
