The admiral and the fletton

nectaring,  its honest need for today

a Rosemary bursting what a display

of crinoline lilacs, the Buddleias they

are seemingly  early  no flowers anyway

under the Cherry  some young common nettle

we keep a wild garden and forage each day

alongside Spring Flowers coming out in rotation

tulips and Iris  and lillies that sway

wildness is  everywhere

dandelions roaring

lemon balms snoring

plantains presuming

chickweeds resuming

forget me knots eye gems  winking away

a lovely Red Admiral on a fletton  today

dusty in situ some minerals yes

could be a little thats  what i guess

she sat there a taste of brick  dust

maybe so

the sun on her wings and then off she did go

nymphalid faery fluttering prism

delicate  bumptiousness

fine airs and graces

up and away

to some beautiful places
