O92 Eden Poem

A floral hint of beauty

a heavenly refrain

productive as each day is long

a lushness that’d has lain

dormant over centuries

an olfactory desire

an exuberance and richness

in what is this fruitful fire

a Union a  marriage

its where dryads sought to play

where they taste the Sloes of Autumn

and the scents that blow their way

a floral intoxication of sweetness through

and through

a myriad of lovelies just doing what they do

This poem throws its magick

its redolence admired

a bouquet left meandering

Where cowslip ponies ride

ambrosial and luscious

as unctuous as can be

a tintinnabulary of echoes

lingering and free

rustic in so many ways

where the fey compete

with Fire flies and with Damsels

Bringing on their treat

seductive and just goddess like

they dutifully fly

upwards rolling forwards

Unseen from on high

A nose gay and an essence

a gel of consciousness

a marvellous  depiction

of a drifting wave roll bliss

a softness calm and peaceful

an epic tale where we

Walk together holding hands

In a tuneful harmony.
