Golden one

a hell of a brain

in that feathery head

talons like razors on fire

a beak like a scimitar

weapon of steel

a great assassin

who will scar and conceal

great huge pieces of flesh

any day

pick up a tortoise

and toss it  away

over a cliff onto some rocks

smashing the shell

all those hard knocks

we see the crack

and the Eagles sharp beak

and inside the crack

its her soft  body they seek

bloodied and broken

the tasty meat

the beak feels the muscle

and gives it a tweak.

tasty and still

as fresh as can be

the beak now  was bloodied

which is what we could see

these birds of prey

hunters unique

really ferocious

like some ghoulish freak

Follow the  carnage

watch as it drops

bleeding and broken

now dragging the

Slopps.

it is a privilege

catching this Hare

brazen  as the devil

being aware

hare meat and turtle meat

no time for prayer

these great winged Eagles

are daring and fair
