Jetster and the trails

my family are the Felidae

once feral that  was I

i lived close to the Union Canal

and that is why

i followed it to Waitrose

making friends there

as some  know

and was adopted by the  Dragon Queen

the purple one on show

she took me to the River Gade

where the watercress is green

bursting from the chalky hills

a truly delightful scene

i found her to be an unusual soul

who spoke to  me a lot

and i soon well fell in love with her

right there on that spot

the  sofa its a place where

we

share our dreams respectfully

she comes with me upon the trails

and i impart collective tales

of hunting which i share of course

the fae she is a tour de force

walks for miles whilst telling me

the extensive yarns from  her history

we cats do walk and love to share

our walking  prowess everywhere

weasels stoats and little mice

they crawl about  and they taste so nice

skin and fur and rich entrails

practising it never fails

its my hearing when i am with her

my hearing  increases

it does occur

to me.

she is magick  in every way

an audible women and she does say

that she is special in every way

when we walk the trails

on a summers day

jetsters my name

i dont say a word

i take  no notice of any bird

just the mice and the odd frog

she refers to  me as her cat dog

her cat husband and I don’t mind

for I love her to bits

she just blows my mind.

being in love with her

Happy I be

my hearings tuned up

and I just feel carefree.
