The courage of the wasp men

We are at war with the dam builders

they wish to take down our  forest

kill the river we the Indigenous Kiapo

Must fight the good fight

we must prepare ourselves strengthen

our will and go forward into battle

for what is right

its has nothing to do with ego

our courage must be tempered with

spirit and soul

we  must attack the Amyu killer wasps absorb their

stings and by overcoming them

take on their power

suffer terribly hour after hour,

win back the control

they were tenacious each sting a poisoned arrow

our  bodies torn a’sunder aching so

their connectedness an coagulation

inextricable  we know

we broke open the complete nest

with vigour an integrity

we were attacked vehemently

bedlam and chaos ensued

we fell down in turbulence and tumult

unhinged and imbued

Our whole bodies raced with pain

That manifested everywhere

we even tasted it the despair

Again and again

everywhere we were crying

and were defying

the ancestors cold feel our power

increase on the hour

we are ready to take on the dam builders

for our power is now immense

spirit of the forest

of the river

of the ancestors

it now makes sense

we are ready now to fight

and beat them

with our  our insatiable

Might.
