The Jack and the Jill the neonate and joey

a family of  warriors

The outback to where

they are born and they live

and are very aware

fantastic sight and hearing as well

and they can smell well

under the spell

of Australian History

licensed to be

romping the red earth

With their  will to be free

designed for the country

born to be here

They love arid pasture

that much is clear

they regulate blood

the chemistry they

know what to do

at the end of the day

Wonderfully muscled

they really are strong

they were born to be here

to kill them is wrong

the government sadly

are an arrogant bunch

who do miss the point

when it comes to the crunch.

their  talents are widespread

Upright and good

fantastic integrity

they know they could

have finer feelings

their pedigree long

their candour and confidence

it does belong

with all of the family

Who understood they

Were remarkable all of them

clearly they say

feeding at night

in shadows of the moon

and being shot at

when death can be soon

the howl of  a fox

the blood to pursue

the chance of the rush

its what hunters do

Kill and be killed

victims one and true

Shot down in cold blood

by a murderous crew

By impatient,landowners

Niggling carping

employing shooters

always then harping

on the dark negatives

when actually

the marsupial mobs

are not blameworthy

they are on good grounds

champions who

are really nobility

in what they do

as  for the humans

selfish as hell

devious palm greasing

Maggots from Hell

who set out to murder

to chase and to kill

their wavering loyalty

straight out of Hell

they won’t see the Roo’s

in the right light sadly

and will not stop harming

till the land is made free

just a few parks

the picture books where

the great and the good

once roamed

my despair

at the people who harm them

who cant see their value

and just want to murder

and torture they do.
