Now you see it soon you won’t

We may as well just bomb the place

strafe the neighbourhood

a world heritage Neolithic monumental

Could

anyone be that stupid

all those flint tools where

lying below the surface

And Grant Schapps doesnt care

An unenviable  situation

The Beaker People they

left all sorts of wondrous things

but a lot don’t care today

they exaggerate the benefits

Their ideas  clearly flawed

and say what we dont know about

Don’t matter

overawed

By all that lovely money

a tunnel and dual carriageway

chaos every which way

all despite the electric vehicles

likely to be there

they are just forgotten

the pollution that we save

is still, part and parcel

as to why it all feels grave

what about round barrows

And hollows everywhere

wells with sacred significance

Its unending dispair.

thats what Shapps is on about

But frankly what I see

is a whole world heritage sight

wounded dubiously

we shall still see loads of traffc

Though the only  way to see

the stones  is pay the admission charge

Whatever  that will be.
